About the Authors
Heather Carter-Templeton PhD, RN-BC, is an Assistant Professor at The University of Alabama, Capstone College of Nursing. She received her Ph.D. in nursing from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center and is certified by the ANCC in nursing informatics. She is involved in a number of professional organizations including the SNRS, ANIA, and Sigma Theta Tau. She is also the Editor of the ANI Connections column of CIN: Computers, Informatics, Nursing journal.
Tami H. Wyatt PhD, RN, CNE, CHSE, ANEF, FANN, is the Associate Dean of Research and Torchbearer Professorship of Nursing at the University of Tennessee, College of Nursing. She is the Co-Director of the Health Innovation, Technology & Simulation Lab, which works to solve problems with innovative solutions. She is a Fellow in the Academy of Nursing, the Academy of Nursing Education, a Scholar of the Harvard Macy Institute and a Scholar of the Mobile Health Training Institute.
Lin Wu, MLIS, AHIP, is Associate Professor and Assistant Director for Research & Learning Services at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center Health Sciences Library in Memphis, TN. She received her Master Degree in Library and Information Studies from McGill University and is a distinguished member of the Medical Library Association’s Academy of Health Information Professionals. Her research interests include scholarly communications, embedded librarianship, information literacy instruction, evidence-based medicine, nursing informatics, and information management.
