About the Author
Dr. Rebecca Bowers-Lanier has a broad and varied career that includes staff nursing and supervision; nursing education and educational administration; program development and evaluation; and grantsmanship, including grantwriting, grants administration and technical assistance for grantees. She currently is president of B2L Consulting in Richmond, Virginia, where she works as a legislative advocate consultant at the state level for nonprofits in health care and public education. Bowers-Lanier is the former Deputy Director of Colleagues in Caring: Regional Collaborative for Nursing Work Force Development, a national program funded by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
