The University of Minnesota School of Nursing has been engaged in an ongoing journey to create and sustain a healthy work environment for faculty, staff, and students. Tied closely to a healthy work environment is our deep commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and equity—both aligning with the school’s values.
This course will retire after 19th February 2024.
Learning Outcomes:
- Engage professionals, at all levels, to advocate for the creation and sustainment of healthy work environments
- Disseminate evidence on evidence-based solutions for creating healthy work environments
Author Bio:
Christine Mueller, PhD, RN, FGSA, FAAN, RN, FAAN, is a professor and Senior Executive Associate Dean of Academic Programs at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing and holds the School of Nursing Long-term Care Professorship. She oversees the school’s two pre-licensure programs and the two graduate programs. Dr. Mueller’s research career has focused on improving the care of elders living in nursing homes and her research focuses on factors that can influence quality of nursing home care.
