Formally known as Nursing Knowledge International, Sigma Marketplace is a wholly-owned, 501(c)3 not-for-profit subsidiary of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. We are committed to providing evidence-based knowledge solutions developed for nurses by nurses. Sigma Marketplace offers free and fee-based content developed by leading organizations around the globe.Our Mission
The mission of Sigma Marketplace is to help nurses help others. This is accomplished by providing products and services that serve the global community of nurses in its pursuit of health care knowledge, career advancement, research, and continued development of the nursing profession. In addition to providing the high-quality products and services of its parent, Sigma, Sigma Marketplace has established sales, marketing, and distribution partnerships with a wide range of nursing associations, publishers, continuing education providers, and universities. These organizations produce healthcare books, continuing education, journals, research papers, teaching aids, and other forms of quality nursing-related knowledge. Sigma Marketplace was established as Nursing Knowledge International in November 2002 as a not-for-profit organization to serve the knowledge needs of the global nursing community. With headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana, Nursing Knowledge International is a wholly-owned subsidiary Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
